This design was inspired by a drawing my cousin, Eddie Stanfield, drew while we were on a family reunion in the ghost town of Sunnyside, Arizona. This piece is a memorial to the old windmill near our great-grandmother’s home on which our mothers may have climbed and played. The windmill no longer stands but resides in our memories, in pictures and now in this cross stitch design. Complete stitching instructions are included.
